Shift developed a series of static maps for the Broomfield Early Childhood Council that include data on demographics, environment and early care and education providers supporting children's behavioral health and social emotional development. This resource gives a comprehensive view of where vulnerable children live in relation to affordable housing, early childcare, K-12 schools, health facilities and mental health providers.
As the organization supporting this effort, Early Milestones Colorado was challenged to make a tremendous amount of statewide data actionable. Shift’s data visualization efforts painted a striking picture of communication work happening across the state, helping to make the assets, needs and next steps obvious to us. Our partnership with Shift was instrumental in advancing our work.
