As the economy evolves, the labor market changes with it. For the economy to evolve sustainably, housing stock must adjust so that the range of available housing options matches the earning capacity of local jobs. This report examines what housing is available to support workers in metro Denver’s major occupations—and finds that it’s becoming increasingly difficult for workers to afford homes in the region.
